AJ floors Ngannou

 Two gladiators and 1 came out ontop in this heavy weight bout involving AJ and Francis Ngannou. At the end of the second round, AJ came out tops after flooring the Cameroonian champion. The bout which took place in Saudi Arabia which the high and mighty flyers in the Arab country in attendance saw AJ's promoter Hearn assuring the crowd to stand by AJ and promised the crowd that AJ was the "Heavyweight champion of the world" Albeit in theory as Alexander Usyk still occupies that sit and also, Tyson Fury who was very much present to watch the bout  appeared impressed with what he saw.  At the end of the day, 2 African giants made Africa proud!

British Actress involved in robbery incident.

British actress Viscella Richards has been found dead at her Caribbean home.    The star, who used the stage name Vikki Richards, was found with her hands bound inside her bedroom in North Valsyn, north of Trinidad on Wednesday, March 6.    According to reports, police believe the 79-year-old TV personality was killed by robbers after her property was ransacked.   Cop say there were no other marks of violence on her body.    Richards was best known for her role as a supporting actor in Black Snake, a 1973 British film shot on location in Barbados. She began her career onstage, later appearing in TV’s The Onedin Line, Return of the Saint and Howard’s Way.   Local police are investigating after her body was found this week by a carer on the bedroom floor of her home near Port of Spain. 

Bandits amputate a 5-months old baby, kill four other children in Plateau attacks

  Armed bandits amputated a 5 months old baby boy during attack in Danda Chugwi village, Jos South Local Government Area Plateau State. The National Publicity Secretary of the Berom Youth Moulders Association, Rwang Tengwong, identified the deceased as Pam Dawho, 59; Nvou Gyang, 43; Jah Pam, 50; Ruth Bot, 16; Chundung Gyang, 9; Mercy Gyang,12; and Benjamin Gyang, 5.  Among those injured was the five-month-old baby boy whose hand was amputated by the gunmen.   The victims were laid to rest in the village on Monday, August 1 after a funeral mass.  Meanwhile, Member Representing Jos South/Jos Federal Constituency of Plateau State in the House of Representatives Abuja Hon. A 65-year-old woman has been murdered by suspected ritualists in Ilesa, Osun State.

  The victim was found dead on Monday, August 1, 2022, on her farm at Fadahunsi area of Ilesa at noon.   Spokesperson of the Osun Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday, said the assailants plucked out the woman's eyes.   “Dare Oluyemi of Odundun area reported that his mother, one Oluyemi Tunmise, aged about 65 years, who family members have been searching for since Saturday, 30/07/22, was found dead on her farm at Fadahunsi area Ilesa at about 1130 hours with one of her eyes plucked out by yet to be identified assailants," the statement read.    The statement added that the complainant and other children of the deceased had refused to allow the police to take the corpse of their late mother to the mortuary.   The PPRO said the children of the deceased wished to bury their mother, adding that they threatened violence if the police insisted on going ahead to evacuate the corpse to a mortuary. 

Hmmm!!! Nigerian woman accuses her husband of sexually molesting their 9 months old baby

  Mrs Onyinye Onome, a Nigerian woman has taken to Facebook to accuse her husband she married about a year ago, of sexually molesting their son who is 9 months and 2 weeks old.   Onyinye Onome, in a series of Facebook posts and live videos, alleged that her life is in danger for exposing her husband, named Chukwutem Victor Inalu, as he allegedly has the backing of powerful men.   She claims they didnt court for long before their marriage.   They had their traditional marriage in Dec 2019 and she soon welcomed a son who is now 9 months and two weeks old. She claimed she started suspecting her husband was into men and told his family but they didn't do anything about it. FG’s Huge Debts Crippling Financial System – CBN

The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria on Tuesday called on the Federal Government to urgently  evaluate  the level of its domestic indebtedness and develop a framework for settling these debts. The committee, in a communique issued at the end of its two-day meeting held at the headquarters of the CBN in Abuja, warned that the huge government indebtedness to economic agents had slowed down business activities. In the communique, which was read by the CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, the committee noted that the development was not good for the economy as it was compromising the integrity of the financial system. While reiterating that monetary policy alone could not address the current economic crisis, the CBN governor noted that the committee called for an enrichment of fiscal and other sector initiatives and interventions towards resolving the growth challenges in the economy.
