Orji Kalu Invades Thisday Newspaper With Police

The former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu, today almost personally closed down Thisday newspaper.
Kalu won a libel lawsuit against the newspaper, which is published by Mr. Nduka Obaigbena, along with an award of N500 million in damages.  He jubilantly and immediately procured the services of a large number of police and court bailiffs and proceeded to the newspaper to shut it down.
Kalu who himself publishes a soft-sell tabloid, The SUN, has several libel lawsuits against Thisday.

Saharareporters learnt that when a woman friend of Mr. Kalu’s died recently at his Maryland, United States residence, he took umbrage at the gleeful and detailed reporting of the event by Thisday, and strengthened his legal team to push the cases against Thisday.  One result was today's judgment.

The police activities around Thisday headquarters heightened tension in Nigeria as many interpreted it to mean that the federal government was clamping down on the newspaper over its reports on the Abuja bomb blasts.

AJ floors Ngannou

 Two gladiators and 1 came out ontop in this heavy weight bout involving AJ and Francis Ngannou. At the end of the second round, AJ came out tops after flooring the Cameroonian champion. The bout which took place in Saudi Arabia which the high and mighty flyers in the Arab country in attendance saw AJ's promoter Hearn assuring the crowd to stand by AJ and promised the crowd that AJ was the "Heavyweight champion of the world" Albeit in theory as Alexander Usyk still occupies that sit and also, Tyson Fury who was very much present to watch the bout  appeared impressed with what he saw.  At the end of the day, 2 African giants made Africa proud!

Woman discovered her husband has Ashley Madison account on live radio

A woman has been left humiliated after discovering that her husband has an Ashley Madison account on live radio.  The woman, given the alias 'Jo', called in during a segment on suspicious partners, hosted by NOVA hosts Fitzy and Wippa on Thursday.  The radio duo had stumbled across a hack website that leaked users of the adulterous dating site and entered Jo's husband's details into the system on her request. 'We're putting him in right now and his details have revealed that he's actually on the website Jo,' Fitzy told the shocked woman.
